Robert Stuart papers, 1812-1933.

Stuart's journal records an 1812-1813 trip from Astoria by St. Louis to Green River, Kentucky. Stuart reproduced the account as "Traveling Memoranda," a report for J. J. Astor. P. A. Rollins made a typed transcript of Stuart's journal and added correspondence with Eberstadt and W. R. Coe regarding the journal. There is an 1825 court document about a Chippewa Indian indicted by a jury of which Stuart was foreman and a supply order signed by Stuart for the Michilimackinac store.
